I think the 22 or 22 1/2 (whichever it is)? You use the 18 to draw it up but not to inject. I didn't make it to transfer and the only good part about that was no PIO! But double check with someone else cause like I said I didn't make it there but I did ask this question and I think this is the answer I got.

i think she is right...feels like forever since i did it but in reality 3 weeks
but i think i drew it up with 18,switched it off use 22 to inject

For PIO the 18 guage is to draw the medication up, and the 22 guage is to inject.
Do not use the 18 to inject as that will hurt!

thanks everyone...turns out i was never sent the 18 guage needles which is why i was so confused. i have them on order now. i just drew it up with the 22. just took longer.
