Who do you use for home and auto insurance?
We're starting to shop around for new insurance.
We currently have The Hartford for both home and auto.
Called Liberty Mutual this morning and will be calling USAA this afternoon.
Who do you have your insurance through?

I would be more than happy to quote the insurance for you. My agency deals with about 15 different carriers. I would just enter your info into my quoting system and it would generate a price within every carrier we deal with this way we can see who would offer you the best rate.

Auto: Nationwide (wouldn't write us for HO)
HO: Naraganset Bay. A friend actualy switched form NW to them and saved over $1000/yr

AAA is my broker for both but my policy is with Travelers. I saved $800 moving to them from Geico

I have USAA for both. Haven't had to deal with HO claims thus far (knock wood) but their price was great! Unfortunately I did have to deal with their Auto Claims Service for an auto accident but they were an absolute DREAM to work with. Excellent customer service in the claims department and my policy didn't even increase after the accident (which was 100% my fault). I can't rave about them enough.
Also, when we inquired about HO policy, they were extremely helpful and even called us a week after we closed to see how we were doing and to wish us luck in our new home.
I am going to look into an Umbrella policy with them as well.

Statefarm for both. They would only write our home owners if we changed our auto over to them. Otherwise, they werent writing.

Allstate for both. I've had them for years.
DH has Progressive for auto.

Home is Metlife.
Auto is Geico now. Met life was $800 more a year.
