Napa with kids

We will be going to Napa in July/ August with DS, who will be 2, for SIL's wedding. Unfortunately all I know about the area is really geared towards adults and wine. We will be in Napa for a week and in San Fran for 3 days. I'd like some ideas on what to do while we are in Napa. We will be renting a car so day trips are definitely an option. Thanks

Re: Napa with kids

I was in Napa recently and definitely saw small children at wineries but I can't imagine them truly enjoying it. I found a list of ideas on Trip Advisor---some of these sounds good.

Re: Napa with kids

Will you only be staying at Napa or would you do SF as well?

I know SF has tons of stuff for kids to do. I don't think my kids would enjoy Napa. Maybe they would like the tram ride.

We don't really have a choice where we are staying. DH's sister is getting married and the whole family, 20 of us, are staying in Napa at a rental house for a week. We will be flying into and out of SFO and staying there for three nights as well.

I realize that Napa is not geared towards kids. I am wondering if there are any child friendly things that we can take day trips to? Thanks

Thanks, I found that same things earlier. I don't think DS is going to enjoy the wineries at all. Hopefully we can find things to do for a few days and then hit the house pool.
