If you have a wood dining table
What do you use to protect it? DH keeps saying he wants to get glass to put over it, but I don't want to. When we have company over, we open the table up so the glass would have to come off. Right now we have placemats on it and I usually use a tablecloth when we have guests.

On 0ur wood kitchen table we use placemats. On our DR table we use table pads and a table cloth for dinners but leave it bare when not in use.

We have a table pad that we cut to fit perfectly. We also have a tablecloth on it. The table is so beautiful but with DS I cannot risk ruining it.
