Can you show me pictures of your
wood floor stain color? We are buying a home and are going to be refinishing the floors before we move in and I'm trying to decide on the color. I love the cherry mahogany look so we will probably go with that, but I'd love to see other peoples pictures! Thanks!

We just had our floors refinished with goldstar. I picked out about four stains and they were nice enough to show me how the color would actually look. We went with gunstock. Sorry I don't have pics yet. HTH

we just put in natural wood flooring and had it stained JACOBEAN, I will try to take a picture tomorrow and post it.

In our bedrooms we have Golden Oak
In our hallway, on our stairs and in the living room and dining room we have Provincial. It is not a dark color at all but the swatch makes it look dark.
You can't really tell from the palette, but the provincial is actually the third lightest (going from light to dark).

We also used Goldstar for our LR, DR, Hallway and stairs. Excellent work for a very reasonable price.

We put down #2 Red Oak and had it stained JACOBEAN - my contractor said that it was going to be really dark, but I said that I wanted it and I LOVEEEEEE it!

We just had 2 floors done.
In the family room we laid maple floors and just had them clear coated- no stain.
(Excuse the kids/animal in the pics- I happened to have some where you can see the floor )
In the living room I think we did colonial maple....not sure though

Thanks! Yeah its not too dark where it shows dust (like our nightmare prefinished hardwoods) but it's not the traditional light oak color.
