Spending Money for Vegas
So Im leaving for Vegas in less than 2 weeks and I m trying to gauge how much spending money I will need to bring. Now let me state for the record that I'm NOT a gambler and niether is my friend thats going with me. This is more about seeing the sights, shows...etc.
Im going from Monday afternoon until friday evening... not there on the "weekend", if that makes a difference.
Any input would be awesome!!!
TIA

Re: Spending Money for Vegas
I just got back from Vegas. I think it really depends on what you plan to use the cash for.
I went to a bachelorette party 2 weeks ago and took $500 cash. I came back with $300. I only used cash for cabs and tips. We also pretty much stayed at our hotel (Cosmo) and walked to our neighboring hotels.
We charged most everything to the room and MOH charged dinner on her credit card. We all had to write her a check (~$1000 per bridesmaid) for hotel, spa, food and drinks.

Re: Spending Money for Vegas
Honestly i felt like we just kept taking out money we were just there a few weeks ago. to take a cab anywhere is usually about $10. most Dinners are fairly expensive depending on where you go. you really need to plan where you plan on going to gauge how much you are going to spend. there are a lot of things to do that cost $20 here $30 there. I do recommend having breakfast at Hash house a gogo . it was like the best meal i had in Vegas. its in the imperial palace.
