Can anyone recommend...
a good hand held vacuum or a stick that converts? I am looking for something quick to use around the kitchen?

We have the shark multi-vac for a few years now and love it, perfect for wood and tile floors suction is awesome. I also use the turbo brush attachment often for our carpeted stairs and to get cat hair off the sofa.
