Has anyone ever been to any of these places?
Sicily
Croatia
Corsica
Mallorca
or Morocco?
Just looking to plan our next trip and was hoping to get some feedback on any of these places.

I've been to Sicily and Croatia. We went on a cruise to those places and I have to say that I LOVED them! Both places have very friendly, inviting people...and the food is amazing!

Our Med. cruise stopped in Corsica and Mallorca.
These were just quick day stops, so we didn't have a lot of time to explore.
Mallorca was very, very nice. Great cathedral and castle, and beaches. We had a rainy day in Corsica, so I don't remember it fondly. It was a nice change of pace to be technically in France with more French influences than Spanish or Italian.
Sardinia was also very nice.

I've been to Sicily and Croatia. We went on a cruise to those places and I have to say that I LOVED them! Both places have very friendly, inviting people...and the food is amazing!

I love Sicily, that's where my family is from. It's very different from the boot of Italy. If possible I would try to do some time in Sicily and the boot so you can compare.

sicily!!! we spent a week there and drove around almost the whole island. it was amazing. and not very touristy (except for palermo, which we only drove through since it was just too crowded to stop/find parking). but it was an amazing trip!

We loved Croatia, esp Dubrovnik! We talk about it all the time! Sicily was wonderful, too. Mallorca was nice, just not my favorite.

I've heard Croatia is gorgeous. I so wanted to go there for our June vacation, but got outvoted so now we're headed to Greece next week instead (just in time for the elections, awesome).
Anyway, I'd definitely look into Croatia for sure.

I've been to Tangiers in Morocco and it was wonderful. We went to the Casbah, saw a snake charmer and toured the countryside. Some people would not feel as safe here as in the other countries you mentioned but being from NY, I had no issues (although someone did try to pickpocket me - luckily my pocket was empty). It was a very interesting place.
