Flourescent Ligthing should be banned!
I swear to you, I leave my house, thinking I look good.
I get to work and check my face in the bathroom mirror on my first bathroom break and HOLY BALLS- I look scary!
Red, blotchy, huge azz pores, odd coloring...FUGLY! 
Go back to my desk, head hung in shame, to the natural window light of my office (I don't keep the overheads on in my office) and check my hand mirror- and I look normal again!
I swear to you flourescent lights are the devil!!!
Anyone else notice this?

YES! To fix the problem my mom got me a mirror for Christmas that mimics different lighting situations, but I never use it because the "work" light setting makes me feel bad about myself.
Even worse they just got the new energy efficient bulbs and they are even BRIGHTER than before. It's terrible.

YES! Why is it so BRIGHT?
I feel like you could perform surgery in the bathroom it is so blindingly bright in there!
Tone it down people!! Nobody is meant to be seen in such bright lights!!!

That's exactly what it looks like- surgical. I swear, I have to take a picture of the floor with the new lights and one on the floor with the old lights- it's a world of difference. It sucks all the warmth out of the room in general, not to mention out of my skin! lol!

OMG..this totally happened to me last week. I left the house thinking "oh yeah"...i go into the bathroom and my foundation looked awful, my blush was too harsh, my hair looked brassy, i freaked! i started wiping my whole face off right there, i swear, i looked good when i left, even my mirror in my office didn't give me the impression i looked so horrid. I even ran out and bought new foundation that day, i was mortified. Oh and the fact that I used Jergin's (light to fair), i swear, i was an ompa loompa!!

OMG, totally agree, i walk out thinking I look decent until I go in the bathroom. So now I just avoid the mirror. I like living in my fantasy world

It happened again, concealer way too light...ugh!!! I need to add fluorescent lights to my bathroom!! I cannot go out like this.

DH just put energy efficient bulbs in the kitchen, which look just like fluorescent lights, just in blub form. It's awful. I told him they better burn out quick, but sadly it turns out they last like 10 years or something. I'm switching those out ASAP. The money saved is not worth the god-awful lighting.

Just bear in mind that you only look that bad under flourescents.
So avoid them like the plauge!
I am so happy I got my own office- I keep those lights OFF and use a desk lamp and the window light!
When I look in the mirror I am glowing and flawless!
(Like Kitty said above- I shall live in my little fantasy world!)

THAT is exactly what we have in our office. It's AWFUL.
