walk in closet paint color
Do I paint it white or stick with the color of the bedroom?

I don't have any walk-in closets, but all of the closets I do have are white. I figure, if I repaint the rooms in the future, I can just leave the closet alone. If you match the rest of the bedroom, you'll probably need to repaint the closet if you repaint the room.

The trim in our bedroom is white so we painted it white.

I have a small walk-in in my master bedroom -- our room is SW Quietude (a soft bluish/greenish color) with white trim, and the closet is painted white. We have dark wood shelves/closet organizers in there to match our dark wood bedroom furniture.

i don't think there is any right or wrong answer, but i would say white. when you are picking out clothes you don't want the background color of the room to make you think that things go together or don't go together!

I should suggest for walk in you can try the light color which are more suitable for your doors. I have walk in with milk white color with pure white combination. It looks amazing.

We have two walk closets in our house, both are on the small side. We painted them both white. For the closet I use I didn't want a wall color to throw off how my clothes look. I wanted it to be as bright as possible since there s no natural daylight in there.
My DH builds luxury homes with closets the size of an average bedroom and they paint them white at first then the new owners usually hire a decorator that picks wallpaper or a paint color.
