Re: Another breast feeding question

I don't have any suggestions on books, but I wanted to say that his is a GREAT idea! I never knew how hard and trying BFing was until i was trying to do it with DS. I've never imagined difficulties like how I encountered. And having a baby just days old with cummulative 1hr of sleep per 24h period leaves no time to start reading. Lol
Read now!! On that note, I'm researching relactating. Good luck to you!Chat Icon

I read this:
http://www.amazon.com/Breastfeeding-Made-Simple-Natural-Nursing/dp/1572244046

I wish I had read it before having baby. I had a lot of difficulty initially. Also, many women attend La Leche meetings during their pregnancy. I wish I had educated myself more before giving birth. I stuck it out and i am soooo glad I did, but it wasn't easy in the beginning.GL!

This one! I read the first few chapters before having DD and it was so helpful. I ended up seeing a LC when she was about 2 weeks old and they agreed with everything I had read.

kellymom.com is also helpful to check out.

Re: Another breast feeding question

The Womanly Art of Breast Feeding - it's a little militant, but there's TONS of great info

The Nursing Mother's Companion - slightly more PC, also with good info
