I was just told I'll need to be on progesterone suppositiories today but those meds are expensive!!!

$6 per pill w/o insurance! And you need to get them from a compounding pharmacy that makes the pills.

Well, anyway, after getting sticker shocked from a pharmacy my OB sent the prescription to, I did some googling and found out that you can get the pills at places that specialize in fertility meds for alot less! :P HMPF!

I called Metro Drugs in the city and they charge only $3/pill w/o insurance.

Just a tip if you need fertility meds! I wish I knew before having the prescription filled. :(

ETA: there's another place fertilitymeds.com that even have prices posted and they have the suppositories listed at 1/3 of the price I paid with insurance (I paid $3/pill). Ouch! Guess I know where to get refills...
