Head down

Just came back from a dr's appt, she did a quick ultrasound and said the head is down, I'm 23 weeks, I asked if that's good or bad and her answer was oh it's ok, things can change , you have a long way to go.
I know babies have lots of room at this point and they move around a lot, but ...
Otherwise everything is fine, cervix long and closed, strong HB

My baby was head down at 24 weeks...laying right on my cervix...and has stayed that way so far - I'm 36 weeks.

Same here- baby has been head down for awhile, probably since about 24 weeks, and has stayed there.

Now, if only the baby's head can get engaged- I will be a happy woman.

The only thing that got me a bit worried is the fact that I have been having this terrible joint pain last week or so, my lower back and my groin area has been killing me, the dr said that must be bc the baby is pressing on something, this was before she did an ultrasound, but I also know that if the baby is too low that can cause all the pains and aches too, I didn't think to ask if the baby being low and alk the pains and aches are connected, thought about it when I got home, going back next week so I'll ask.

They can twist and turn up until they have no more room in there...that could be 25 weeks or 33 weeks...depending on how big the baby is. At my 24 weeks check up my baby was breached and I've felt it move around in my belly and kick in every direction so many times. So I know he/she has room in there and is still turning around in all different directions.

My little guy was head down as long as I can remember so there is nothing wrong with it and it doen not mean an early delivery or anything.

She was head down at my 20 week. By 30 weeks she was 'frank breech' position. She was flipped down at 33 weeks, then breech again at 35 weeks. Just had an appt today and he believes she is in position but will confirm via sono on Sat.

I just had an appt. today and I told the doc that I feel alot of pressure some days and feel like when he kicks he is going to pop out so she did an internal (ugh) and an internal sonogram and he was head down when she started and off to the side by the time she finished up my doc said they can move alot between now and when I actually go into labor so we'll see cause I said the same thing..oh good he is head down already lol
