If you went for your NT at NSUh- Mnhst
how was it?
i know that each doctor/hospital does things a little differently so im wondering how the appointment went/what they did at North Shore?
also, did you have to wait long...was parking far from where you go?

Re: If you went for your NT at NSUh- Mnhst
i had very good experiences with them
there is a parking lot & you have to pay. both times i went i was in and out in under an hour and paid i think $2. .. the lot is right across the street from the hospital entrance .. u go in through the main entrance and the information desk will direct you to what floor you have to go to
i made early appts (8am & 830am). I didn't have to wait in the waiting room any more than 10-15 minutes.. the tech calls you into the room.. does the sono.. takes pics, gives you a print out of a pic (i got one at my ultrascreen & 3 at my anatomy scan) & then you wait for the Dr. he/she does another quick sono, tells you how everything looks and then you're done
ETA: after you see the Dr. for the NT scan, you sit in another room to see a nurse.. she fills out the PW for the testing, asks a couple questions, weighs you & pricks your finger for a blood sample

ohh, yes, i thought you meant the LIJ though off of union turnpike like in New Hyde Park. i was born there and at that time, it was strictly lij so i still think of it as that and north shore (on community drive) was not associated with lij. ooooops! sorry, thanks Erin!!!

This was my experience exactly. It was very good and we were in and out pretty quickly!
