How can you make your hair less brassy at home?

I just got my hair done and while I'm not 100% positive (it always takes me a day or two to decide if I really like it, I'm weird like that) I think it might be a wee bit brassy. I don't dislike it enough to want to say something to the hairdresser, so I'm wondering what I can do at home to make it less brassy (if I do decide it's looking brassy, which I'm not even sure of yet).

ETA- I had highlights done, my hair is naturally light brown/dirty blonde naturally.

My hairdresser sells/sold shampoo with a little bit of tint in it - to use between colorings to add some life. Its very temporary.

Seems hard to find in stores these days but I use Jhirmack Silver Brightening shampoo.

Believe it or not- any shampoo with color depositing for GREY or Silver hair!
The purple in it will counteract any yellowness/brassiness.
My hairdresser recommended it after I got highlights and I was skeptical but it works!
