Can I bring my baby to our closing?
So after 3 months of waiting and stressing we are finally closing. I get confirmation today that closing is tomorrow. Everyone I know (trust) will be at work. Is it unheard of to bring a 4month old to a closing? He is really good and will prob not cause any problems...y

Can you yes, would I, no. I would want to make sure I read everything and that it had my full and complete attention. If you think your DC will just sleep or take a bottle then maybe, but I would want to make sure I had an extra set of hands in case the child needed immediate attention. Regardless of who is on the mortgage, if you are both on the deed, you are going to be signing a lot of paperwork. If it is smooth sailing expect about an hour. Your hand may cramp.

Thank you! I had short notice and will not be able to find a sitter so he has to come with us.
He's pretty good as long as he's slept and fed.

I am sure it will be fine. Closings are pretty informal -- bunch of people sitting around a conference table and chatting. As the buyers, you and your lawyer have the most work to do in terms of signing documents. But with a 4 month old (who can't walk, talk, etc.), I think it shouldn't be an issue at all. My "spirited" 3.5 year old, on the other hand, would be another story!

Yes, you can. We brought our DS, he was a month old. Just sat and slept.

We closed!..and a very stressful 3 months have ended.
DS did great and just sat in his car seat/stroller; played, observed, and slept.
It really was just a bunch of paper signing. Very informal, most people in the room knew each other. It's pretty awesome that we had our attorney who took care of every detail and all we had to do was sign. We even walked out with a little bit of money
