Hmm..I don't know what's going to happen since our lives will probably change a lot in the next 5 years.    
We have been actively thinking about a trip to Italy and a trip to Disneyland and Aulani (Oahu).
I'd also like to go to Costa Rica and DH would like to go to Tokyo and Tokyo Disney

my dream-dream vacation is a trip around the world. i started thinking about this when looking for honeymoons, then i realized to do it right would take at least 3 months - at least!
so now that is my dream retirement trip....it sounds silly, but it is motivation to STAY healthy for many many years to come. i want to be able to be as active as i am today!
as for 5 year planning, again, im sure life will change in the next 5 years, so we are going all out this year! 2012 is def. the year of travel for us. 4 international trips visiting 5 countries this year! and definitely looking forward to going on safari in south africa! so that is kind of a dream, b/c until this year i would have NEVER thought we would be doing that!

We already have some idea of what we're planning to do over the next few years, vacation-wise.
As you know, we're doing Bangladesh and Istanbul this fall  I'll get you some wedding pics, promise!
Next year is my mom's 50th; original plan was an Alaskan cruise but some things have changed and that might be out of the budget for the extended family, so we might do New Orleans for a week instead. DH and I are also very much hoping to get to Ireland next year for a week or two.
2014...really, really hoping to do the German and Austrian Christmas markets, and visit the Languedoc regtion of France. My cousin owns a house there that she rent to travellers; it's in the tiny little village, surrounded by wine and bread and wine and wine and people on bicycles and wine. And cheese.

Want to go back to Hawaii for our 10 year anniversary  We are already approaching year 6, so hope to have the cash to spare. Our kids will be 8 and 6.5 yo by then. They should be fine on the flight.

My dream vacation would be to sail around the world on our own boat. I'd love to go from port to port.
I've been wanting to go to the Maldives since 2007. I wanted to do Dubai/Maldives for our honeymoon but we ended up doing Bora Bora instead. I went to Dubai with a girlfriend before I got pregnant with DS#1 but was never able to go to the Maldives. DH said we can go for my birthday next year. We shall see. Hotels seem to be like $1000+. 
Kiddie trips on the current wish list include Beaches Turks and Caicos and Disney Mediterranean cruise.

Oh! I have to add that I want to do a transatlantic cruise, and I would love to do an Adventures by Disney trip, maybe the Med. cruise with ABD elements.

Its not a dream vacation to some, but we are going to Northumberland for the frist week in June, we are super excited. We have rented a cottage in Alnwick, which is the town where Alnwick Castle is, where Harry Potter was filmed, and we are visiting the small fishing villages where my in laws are from near Bamburgh Castle...its just incredibly beautiful there. Very excited! Its about 3 hours from where we live in Manchester.
Oh, and one of my closest friends has moved to Copenhagen, so hoping to go there soon!

Everyone's trips (and dream trips!) sound so wonderful! Such varied places too! Trip reports when you get back, please
We are going back to India in November. 2 1/2 weeks in New Delhi, Kolkata and the Kerala. Super excited. We love India.
As for next year and years to come we really want to go to Australia to visit some friends then spend some time in the Solomon Islands. China, Indonesia, Sweden,Norway, Lebanon (and other parts of the middle east!) are also on the list.
Have to get our butts back to the UK and Italy as well

I would love to spend two weeks traveling around Italy or Australia for our 10 year anniversary/DHs 40th birthday. The kids will be 6 and 8 by then so I think they would appreciate it too.

DH and I just talked about this the other day. We just booked Jamaica for our 5 year anniversary. We really wanted to make sure we went this year because we want to TTC#2 soon and we know that once we have another baby we wont be able going on a nice vacation like that in a while. (although we may try to swing an all inclusive trip to DR for my 30th birthday in two years!)
We are hoping to go to Hawaii for 10 days for our 10yr Anniversary. And for our 15th Anniversary we are dreaming of going to Tahiti! I told DH he better work hard to make our dream vacations happen!!!

All places I would like to visit over the next 5 years, if possible.
US
~ I would like to do a quick getaway this summer/early fall to New England, the Cape, Maine, or Vermont. DH has been traveling a lot for work and we've had a lot of social commitments, and would love a chance for us to reconnect. Would love any suggestions!
~Miami - I've never been and have heard good things.
~Chicago - bridesmaid in a wedding here in Sept 2013.
~Charleston - friend is getting married close by this Sept, so we are making a long weekend of it. I would love to do this with Savannah as well at some point.
~Drive up the PCH from southern to northern CA and stop at all the fun beach towns along the way. Along the same lines, San Fran and wine country. We spent a very quick weekend there last year for a wedding, but we were in and out so quickly, we didn't get to see or do anything.
~Hawaii - I know this is technically US, but it's such a big trip I consider this more like an intl trip. We are considering this for our one year wedding anniversary in Oct.
Intl
~Cabo
~St Martin
~Greece - this is personal to see family.
~Italy - this is my dream trip!
There are many more, but this list is long enough!
