Opinions - which dress??
I have an engagement party for DH's cousin coming up soon. It's semi-formal/cocktail. I recently lost a bunch of weight and this is my first 'big' event since. I ordered two dresses and don't know which I like better.
Please ignore the awful hair/no make up.
Red or blue?

I am sorry to say this but the blue one looks downright frumpy. The red one is better, it shows off your legs and I like the way it frames your face on the top. If you say you lost all this weight and really want to show off your new figure I would either go with the red one or keep on looking.

Thank you  A few people suggested I could go a size down in the blue - maybe that would make it work better?
Everyone offers a different opinion and I just can't decide. I appreciate your candor!

You have such a cute little figure that I think you would look really nice in something else.
Those dresses are nice, I really like the red one, but I think you're neglecting the fact that you look amazing and can dress the part, KWIM?
I'm not sure what you're style is, but maybe branch out to another kind you haven't worn before and see how you feel in it.
The most important thing is that YOU feel good in it.
Congrats on the weight loss. You really look good!

You look really good! I guess the best out of the 2 is the red dress but I think you can do better with your cute figure. Do you feel comfortable in something sleeveless, strapless?

Thanks for the replies! I guess I'm still getting comfortable wearing more revealing/figure-flattering clothes. I've never really been comfortable in strapless/sleeveless because I don't like my arms, but maybe I'll try. I ordered both of these online....I guess I should go into a store and actually try some stuff on!
I guess I agree with most of the comments - I like both dresses and they're cute, but neither really wows. A friend suggested doing my hair and make-up and trying them both on again. Maybe I'll throw a belt on the red, too.

The red dress fits you better, but I like the blue one more. The blue is too big on you though! I'm thinking maybe you don't realize how small you really are!!! You look great, but I would suggest to go shopping again!

Congrats on the weight loss. You look GREAT!
I prefer the blue dress but you need to exchange for a smaller size. Pair with a thin nude belt and nude sandals.
If you want additional options, ON has a similar dress for $10. I have it in black and love it. It's super comfy and can be dressed up or down.

the blue one looks too big on you. i think the red one needs a thin belt at the waist line. but honestly, i think you can do better than that if youre looking to show off youre great new figure!

I agree, I don't know if it's wrinkled or just looks like that, but it looks kinda sloppy. I don't know that its too big, it just looks like that's way the dress is.
The red one is nice on you but I think you should embrace the new you & get something you LOVE, because i get the sense that you don't LOVE either! What do you like? I’m sure the girls here would be more than happy to find you a great dress!
You look great, congratulations on your weight loss!

I definitely think the blue one is too casual. The red one is nice but I'd try it in a size smaller, it looks too big on you (maybe it's the angle?) You look amazing! I would honestly keep looking
