payment plans at OB??

my last pregnancy my OB did a payment plan for us and i never knew what exactly i was paying for. i had to have them call my ins. company 3 times to finally get it all straightened out.

now i have high deductible insurance. i DONT want to do this payment plan bc if i meet my deductible throughout the year i will be covered 90 percent instead of out of pocket. i HATE HATE HATE the billing dept at my OB and would actually leave them bc of it, i know its going to be a fight already.

so i was just wondering if anyone has an OB that delivers at stonybrook that lets you pay as you go??

You must be going to Three Village Women's Health. They're billing department is so frustrating! I hate that I have to pay all my deductible upfront to them. I do go to other doctors and appointments. They say they'll reimburse me after the baby is delivered...we'll see if that happens. So frustrating!!!
