Jean Leggings (Jeggings?) Update: Found some I love!

I see everyone wearing tight jeans... maybe they are called skinny jeans? I love how they look but are they more for a younger girl? I was trying on a bunch of jeans today trying for "the look" and DH was saying I was too old for skin tight jeans. I'm confused. I need fashion help here!

Update: So I went to Kohls yesterday and tried on a pair of Mudd jeggings and I was in love! They are so soft and comfy and a good sale too.

Not sure what the age cutoff is, but I am 30 and wear them all the time. As long as you look good and feel good in them, I think it is fine.

I have a pair of skinny jeans, I think they look good w/ boots, not sure how to wear them in the spring/summer.

I did get a pair of Kenneth Cole pull-on jeans. They are tight fitted- softer material then regular jeans, a little flared at the bottom - like normal jeans only shrunk. I can wear those with regular shoes and think they are a good compromise for 30-40 women who don't feel 100% comfy in true skinny jeans.

I think it's fine to wear them regardless of age, if you find them comfortable & like how they look on you, go for it ... I just can't wear them bc I'm fat & they don't flatter my shape.

I'm 34, pregnant and still wear skinny jeans. The transition was tough from boot cut if that's what you're used to, just because it's such a different look, but you get used to it, and now I can't imagine wearing anything else (long/puddling or cropped ones). In the the winter I wear them with boots and in the summer with ballet flats.

Thanks ladies. As we were walking around the mall checking out everyone's skinny jeans, and mainly looking at the ankle area, I kind of like when there is a little baggy-ness to the bottom. Girls were wearing gladiator sandals with them and I thought it looked cute. Now onto finding nice ones without breaking the bank in case this is a passing fashion fad.

I love wearing my skinny jeans with flats and flip flops in the spring/summer. I have a really nce pair from Gap.

I am tall and found Sereaa Jeggings on HSN
fit me very well. A bit $$$ but worth the for the fit and comfort.
I tried the ones in Target and they ill-fit.

I own 2 pair of jeggings but much prefer skinny jeans. IMO jeggings are not very flattering on anyone (including myself). I will probably get flamed but I also think that skinny jeans look best on those that are thin.

I wear them. I'm 32. Jeggings and skinny jeans. It's all I wear! They are most comfy for me. I find them also to be more versatile also they look good with everything IMO

Personally, I like skinny jeans with boots (just a very classy look, JMO). I prefer a boot-cut style jeans with everyday shoes (sneakers, flats, heels, etc.)

For me, I like super dark jeans.
