On the topic of tipping....
I get Brazilian Straightening done at a salon that runs deals on Lifebooker, Groupon, etc. all the time so it always costs less than $100 to get done; however, the salons says the "actual full" price is $400.
I usually tip more than 20% on the $100 cost (I usually give $40) but never 20% on the $400--I don't think a soul pays $400 at this salon.
I am being cheap? I just don't know what to do! $80 tip on less than $100 of service seems off.

 Hellz no would I tip $80 and I'm one who almost always tips a full 20%. I have no idea what goes into a Brazillian straightening but I think I'd probably tip $20, maybe $30 if I was feeling funny about it. I bet there are people who'd tip even less than that, I hear a lot of people out there are crappy tippers.
