Keratin treatment
Is it worth to do this?
My salon is having a special so I am thinking of doing it. Please tell me all the good things about it!
I have thick, wavy and a bit frizzy hair so I really would love to do this!

Oohhh your hair looks great!!!! So what exactly do you do after a shower? Do you go over it with a flat iron?

Re: Keratin treatment
I have been doing it for years. I have very curly hair and the first few weeks it is done I can usually finger dry my hair and not iron it. After a few weeks I have to use a brush and sometimes need the iron sometimes not.

Re: Keratin treatment
So worth it IMO. I get it done every summer. Just takes the frizz out and my hair still stays smooth when it's really humid out.

Ditto. I'm actually getting mine done tonight. My hair is thick with a slight wave and gets super frizzy in humidity. I went to Jamaica after getting it done and my hair was still smooth. Def worth it.

Yes. Keratin is basically a deep conditioning treatment. It softens the hair and takes the frizz out.

Re: Keratin treatment
I did Keratin Express last summer and will be doing it again this summer. It made my hair more manageable in the humidity, and it dried faster with less poof.

It's recommended that you use a shampoo without sulfates to make it last longer. I either buy the shampoo they have at the salon or I use the L'Oreal sulfate free line.
