Pergo floors
Hi, We are redoing our downstairs. We want to get pergo for the floors. If you have a higher end lighter neutral color "tile" does it get dirty easily? Especially in high traffic areas of the house.

ITA, we have dark colored pergo floors in our den... you can see the dust very easily and some of our pieces have scratched

Re: Pergo floors
We put pergo in our other house. It's the lighter color and it has held up really well.
We have the cheaper laminate in our current house, also the lighter one, and it's fine too.

I agree with the others. Lighter shows less.

Re: Pergo floors
Definitely go lighter. We have a darker real wood in our dining room and living room and you can definitely see the dust and dirt more than on the lighter stained floors in our bedrooms.

Re: Pergo floors
We put Laminate on our entire top floor (would have done downstairs, but there was wood under the carpet so we just re-finished it)
The laminate is MUCH better with our big dog (She already scratched up half of downstairs) and the lighter color is perfect - you see NOTHING. Anything dark and anything shiny shows foot prints (Paw prints), if you sneeze in the room you'll see the specks.
We got Armstrong Mystic Walnut It's light enough not to show anything and dark enough to give that "look" we love. Plus, we got the Dull one (they had shiny as well)
