Recommend a NYC AND LI hotel
I'm looking for both because we want to split our trip up...a few days in manhattan & a few on LI (central to Nassau county boarder).

On LI the Uniondale Marriott is nice, right of the Meadowbrook Parkway...easy access.

It's pricey, but I LOVE the Inn at Fox Hollow.
In NYC I've stayed at Marriott MArquis and holton Millenium.Both were nice, but expensive. If I were going to spend the money again Id look into a smaller boutique hotel

Depending on how much you want to spend on a hotel consider looking downtown in NYC its just a subway ride to everywhere but the prices are usually cheaper.

On LI, we have stayed at Marriott's Town Place Suites in Farmingdale on 110. It was nice. There is also a Courtyard right in front of it that was nice too. We haven't stayed anywhere in NYC recently.

I'm pretty open. We have family & friends all over LI. So we want it to be on the Nassau/Suffolk border or west.
Last time up we stayed at the Hyatt in Carle Place (I think it had just opened, very nice!).
It's going to be summer, so we want to hit some local LI fairs, the beach, friends/family. But also central park, zoo, aquarium.
