I was using Kristin at Sivana in St James and I got a letter that she left. I have delicate straight fine hair and I love it lighter but not if it’s going to be damaged. She knew I was more concerned with long term health & integrity of the hair because I want to grow it long again. I cut it really short & now its mid-length, it grows fast its just very fine. I would rather someone leave it darker than give me the color I want when I walk out & then after 2 weeks its all broken. She was always soooo careful with my hair, it never came out fried or broken. I was thinking about going to NYC for “the best” but rather than spending $500+ and 2 hours of commute if I can find someone really great here I would do it.

So, anyone with delicate fine hair have a great colorist?
