Yes, me and my wife stayed there a few years back. When we got there We were able to get the Adults only area. It was a pretty new room, and had a bar in lobby area, where you could help yourself, or the girl would make what you wanted. They had a train that was interesting, and it would bring you around the resort. It was really nice. The adult side was pretty quite, the other side had alot of the action going on. But everything was clean, and food was decent.

I actually did see the loft rooms, and they looked nice. It is a big resort, and plenty to do, or nothing to do. We did not leave resort, It was our first time in Punta Cana area, and the beach was really nice. There was seaweed that came ashore in the mornings, but the workers just cleaned it off. The food was typical all inclusive vacation food, not top notch, but had no stomach issues, and always found something we liked.

Stayed at the Palladium twice, in 2006 and 2009, both in the Royal Suites section. The first time it was magical and so nice... in 2009 it seemed to be a little rough around the edges, like they hadn't maintained it very well.. but it was still fantastic.
The food is just good... nothing spectacular, I wouldn't go into this thinking it's a foodie vacation.. you'll always find something you like but you can't be super picky. The restaurants are really good, the buffets are good.
I love it though and would go back in a heartbeat, love Punta Cana!

That was it, I could not remember the name of it "The royal suites". We were there in 2005 My DW was preg. with my first son. It seemed like a pretty new area at the time. I Also did find a little bit of a language barrier, but enough to get by.
