Follicle too large now?
So I am trying to educate myself on follicle size. I now have 1 that is 27mm, so if bloodwork does not show a surg. Dr. has me triggering tonight. That follie seems kind of large to me, to not have already surged. Does that mean it could be a cyst, and not a follie? Can the RE tell from the BW results? Also, is it even worth trying this month, as it may not be a good egg (over ripe)?
What as your experience been with large follies?

27mm does seem large but good thing he's triggering you tonight. Bloodwork should show if you had your surge yet... I would try it anyway...you never know.
I think the larges follies I had were 23-24mm but that was on an aggressive IVF stim plan...

I dont think that's not too large.. I triggered with 1 at 30mm and 4 at 25mm and now I'm 7 weeks pregnant! Good luck to you!

nevermind..I surged on my own today (stick didn't pick it up this morning) so IUI tomorrow...hope this big fellow is it!
