Re: Reasonable priced furniture...

I like Raymour and Flanagan. I find their quality to be pretty good for the prices they have. Stay away from Ashley and Bobs.

Re: Reasonable priced furniture...

Raymour and Flanagan has pretty much the same things as Ashley for more $$$.

We got our furniture at Ashley for $2k less then they wanted at Raymour and we are very happy with it.

My sister also furnished her whole house with Ashley over the years.

If you go to Bobs or The Place, you won't get the best quality, but great prices. It won't be your "Forever Furniture" but if ur on a budget and plan on getting better stuff in 5 years or so, Bobs and The Place may work for you.

I can say I bought bob's furniture and have had no issues...my living room furniture was bought 7 yrs ago and no issues...I think it depends on what you buy and how you use your furniture

This is true. I know a few people who bought from Bobs and they just took real good care of their stuff. It still looks new

Re: Reasonable priced furniture...

We bought a TV stand from Bobs and honestly, it looks beautiful and it's in PERFECT condition. We needed something for the den and didn't want to spend a lot of money and we found something at Bobs that we're actually very happy with.

I've bought a lot at JCPenney over the years too. I've been happy with everything at well. Honestly, no matter where you buy from if you don't take care of it it's going to go to $hit. If your budget doesn't allow for more expensive stores the cheaper options are great depending on what you buy. Chat Icon

this pretty much.
We got most of our furniture from different places. Our Bedroom set is from Raymour & Flanagan and its amazing quality and reasonably priced. Our Living room sofa's, coffee table and wall unit are all from Bob's. Great quality but we don't abuse our furniture either.
Our kitchen table is also from Bob's and haven't had any problems so far.

We're actually looking for a dining room set now and we're looking at Raymour & Flanagan, although we just found the same set at Macys for cheaper!

This!

We bought our DR table, Buffet Server, LR Couches, Electric Fireplace & Mattress from Bob's and have not had any problems at all.

Like a PP said...its not your forever furniture but if you are on a budget and have pets/children then the quality and price can't be beat.

Re: Reasonable priced furniture...

We have a bedroom set from raymour and flannigan we love, leather furniture from Jennifer that we've had no problems with, I had couches that were Ashley brand that were so well made they lasted for over 10 years of serious use with kids and animals. We recently bought bedroom furniture for our vacation place from bobs and while the price was right I'm glad we don't use it everyday because the quality is inferior to the other furniture we have. I noticed even within stores there are various levels of quality. It's a matter of trying to get the most quality and value for your budget and style.

Re: Reasonable priced furniture...

We bought furniture from target, Bob's, raymour and Crate and Barrel (the put together yourself furniture) when we bought our apt 5 year ago. I notice no difference in quality between any of the pieces we got. They are all holding up well. Some stuff at Bob's is made better than other stuff but you can tell that by looking and touching it. Our entertainment center was selling at Fortunoff's (again, ths was 5 years ago) for 1500 but we got the EXACT SAME one at Bob's for 750.
