Black baby furniture
So, we have only a 2 bedroom house, a tiny house with no extra rooms..we currently use the 2br as an office/guest br and already have a black long dresser and one of those taller narrower ones in there. It would be awesome for budget reasons and also cuz we don't have any place to store it, so we are considering leaving it in that room (since that will be the babys room) but it's black!
I tried to look up turning black furniture into white, and it seems pricey/not worth it and a lot of work..
If its a Im fairly confident I can make it work but if its a girl ...I just don't know. I found this one pic..give me opinions please and any other ideas. Would you ever do it? Image Attachment(s):

Re: Black baby furniture
We also wanted black, for the crib. We are using a desk nook for the baby area and there are already black shelves that we can't remove. But we could not find anything affordable, safe, or nice in black. so we just chose a different crib. It won't match but.... I'm letting it go! lol

I love the black and I love that crib. Looks like mine (mine's white though).
I know the Bonavita Hudson comes in black so I wonder if that's actually the same one we have lol.

Re: Black baby furniture
I think it's great for a girl too.
We are doing the same thing (repurposing old furniture)
There's no way I'm spending thousands on baby furniture for the kid to just ruin it
I'm just gonna get a bumper thingy to make the dresser into a changing table

Re: Black baby furniture
i think the black would work for either gender.. only thing i don't like about black furniture is it shows everything.. my bedroom set is black and i feel like it looks dusty even after i just dusted it
