Help! Adding a belt

I bought this dress for a rehearsal dinner. I recently lost a lot of weight and I am so crticial of myself. Anyway, I added a belt to this, and it makes me look a lot smaller by the waist, but I feel like with the belt, all you see is my big boobs! Especially when you look at my side profile.

I asked DH and his answer was "Well, you have big boobs, it is what it is"

Is this look okay with a large chest?

The rule of thumb is to pair a belt with a natural waisted dress not an empire waist.

I agree, no belt here.

I almost bought this dress the other day as well. Kohls right? It was so cute. How does it look on? I was in too much of a rush to stop and try it.

It's a pretty dress but the top will draw attention to your chest. I would definitely skip the belt on the empire waist as a pp said.

I think something like this would be more flattering if you're trying to minimize the chest area and accentuate a slimmer body:

ITA. I wouldn't think of pairing a belt with this. Also, I'd need a really tiny belt. My hips are so much wider than my waist or rib cage.

I agree. I also want to recommend BR outlet. They have a lot of dresses and they are all on sale (some up to 70% off).

Yes, Kohls. I am still about 12lbs overweight and I carry it all in my belly, so I feel like it's a little too flowy and not fitted enough. It makes me look bigger than I am , which is why I wanted to add the belt, but I guess I shouldn't based on what everyone said. (I an clueless when it comes to fashion, I have never done the belt thing before)

Now I am second guessing the dress. hmmmmmm

What about adding a cardigan over it if you feel a little self conscience? I am sure you look fine. I would not worry.
