Re: Childcare Books
I LOVE LOVE LOVE the week by week book. Your Baby's First year, week by week. Its by the same people who made the Pregnancy week by week book and its great! It gives you ideas on where they should be development wise each week, as well as fun games and activities that you can do each week, which really helped in the beginning when I was clueless about what to do with a lil thing that just lied there!!!

Re: Childcare Books
The Book "The Happiest Baby on the Block" was a lifesaver for us!!! It taught us the "5 S's", Swaddle, side, swing... which help calm your baby. It really really helped us out a lot.

Re: Childcare Books
Hi, I agree!!!! "The Happiest Baby On The Block" was the greatest. My dd was never inconsolable. The five S's should be taight to all new parents before they leave the hospital.

Re: Childcare Books
I liked The Baby Whisperer. Not so much caring for a child but understanding them.
