baby bedding - what do i need?

what baby bedding is needed?

the only things i have are sheets and a mattress pad.

i feel like i'm definitely missing something but can't think what

That Is all you need and should put in the crib with the baby.

Just sheets and a mattress pad. We use a breathable bumper too.

The quilt I go, I have on the floor and we use that area to sit and play and read books. But I've never put the quilt into the crib at all. I have a matching fleece blanket as well but that's draped over the glider at the moment (we used it when she was born in the winter on her stroller). I have a diaper stacker too that matches but I only have all those things because I found them at Target returned and on clearance... so the diaper stacker was $4. The quilt was $12.

Oh, we have a wedge incline in the crib under the sheet on top of the mattress as well. Since we transitioned DD from the rock n play to the crib so late (9 months), I wanted her to have the option of an incline. It's been great for when her nose is runny, too. She often sleeps with her head upon the wedged part like it's a pillow. I'm just now going to start to introduce a tiny toddler pillow soon as 16 months. Definitely not something you need early on.

I would add a crib skirt.

All we use is fitted crib sheet and crib skirt. Now that DS is a toddler, we added a waterproof matress cover under the sheet.

For baby's crib, we are just using fitted sheet and crib skirt.
