Bermuda and some kid friendly things to do

Last cruise we went to the zoo/aquarium one day because it rained. We also went to Horseshoe Bay and Snorkel Park.

This time we will probably hit Horseshoe Bay and snorkel park (only for the convenience) again. But we would like to maybe do some other things.

Has anyone gone to Bermuda with children? Have you done the crystal caves? I'm getting very mixed responses on this. What about touring the fort that we dock right next to.

Any other suggestions (girls will be 3 and 5 at that time)?

etd to add: Has anyone done the glass bottom boats with a young children? They get a little bit of motion sickness so I had thought we should avoid it - but someone told me that they did it and their child took dramamine and was fine.

I'd like to know this answer too. I'm cruising out of NJ this summer to Bermuda.

I was definitely going to suggest the Crystal Caves! The only thing is it's a lot of walking, particularly on stairs. But I think the kids would like it, it's pretty cool to see. The fort was pretty boring. We've never done a full tour, but it doesn't seem too exciting there. I always find the Snorkel Park to be fun- everytime I've gone there's been something different- kayaks, a giant inflatable slide, a floating slide. Plus it's really close to the ship so that's always a plus. I'e never done the glass bottom boat tour, sorry. Chat Icon

Re: Bermuda and some kid friendly things to do

We took the Celebrity Summit to Bermuda with two kids. They loved the caves!
We also booked high tea at the Fairmont Hamilton Princess Hotel and it was outstanding. You can also take a short trolly ride and that was fun. But I would book it yourself as the cruise line doubled the price I was able to get walking up to the kiosk. If you look up my user name I wrote a review of the trip. review here

Thank you!! I remember your review and your help before we went last year. I'm trying to find some new things to try out this trip. So now I will definitely put the caves on my list (I had read some mixed reviews about kids and the caves so I hoped someone on here could elaborate). Last trip we just did the 2 beaches and the zoo/aquarium when it rained our 1st day down there).

I don't know about the tea though DD#1 who would love it has a lot of food allergies so it is hard to eat out with her (teas are hard because many have milk or chocolate or strawberry items - which she is allergic to).

Yes we enjoyed both and got outside during a lull in the rain. I definitely recommend it - but we wanted to do somethings that were completely different this time.

Ok, just wasn't sure from your response if you saw the outside last time. Didn't want you to think the inside was all there was . . . lol!
