maybe a silly question- spanakopita?
Is spinach pie okay to eat? I had it the other night and then realized it had feta in it  Is it okay though b/c its cooked? I'm having another craving today for more spinach pie!!

Yes, as long as the cheese is pasteurized and 9/10x any cheese in the US is safe. PLUS it's cooked. Enjoy!

Feta is fine if its pasturized. Most are, like the common brands from the grocery store. Plus Im sure its ok once it's cooked.

Once it's cooked, it's fine, I believe. You can even have lox if it's cooked in an omelet!

I have had feta quite a few times this pregnancy ~ I have craved Greek Salads ~ I usually don't eat the huge chunks but I think the spanakopita is fine it will be heated and it is probably pasteurized ~ you can even ask them ~ I did that when I was preggo with my ds and they brought out an un-opened cheese to show me.
