Names spinoff

If you know the gender of the baby, are you still coming up with a name for the opposite gender, just in case?

for example, you know you're having a boy, do you still come up with a girls name?


DH and I aren't 100% sure of the gender yet since our anatomy scan isn't for another month, but at the NT scan, they guessed it's a boy and we're hoping that's true. We can't, for the life of us, come up with a girls name we both like!

Like you, we had NO idea what to name our LO if it was a girl... turns out we are having a boy, but we still would not have a girls name picked out just in case

With DD, we only had a girl's name picked out.

We still can't come up with a 's name we love... good thing we found out SUPER early so we've been discussing it slowly. I have one name that keeps popping up in my head that I really like so I think we may go with that.

We will not have an alternative name picked once we decide.

We aren't. I planned to come up with 2 names (twins) and choos when we find out the sex. But DH refuses to discuss names with me. Hopefully once we know the sexes he will discuss it. He keeps saying we have to wait to see the babies so we might still have a few names depending on gender.

we did, through out my whole second pregnancy I was told I was having a boy for some reason it just never sank in. We had a girl name on standby just in case LOL It was going to be Emma Raine the name is up for grabs if anyone would like it
