Idea of fence cost for .75 acre

Hi everyone,

I know there are a lot of variables, but I am trying to get an idea of how much it would cost to fence .75 acre. We have an offer in on a house and since we have a dog, would have to fence it immediately. I don't know how much to budget for it-Most likely we would do 4 ft metal on sides and rear, and 6 ft pvc on either side of front of house.

Can anyone give me a ballpark figure to budget for?

this would be awesome to know..we have .33 an acre, so you have much more but we'd love to put up our own fence too

We just moved into our new home a few weeks ago and the fence guys came today to start. Our property is .69 of an acre but since we back up to a pond and there is a wooded area, we are not fencing the whole backyard. We are fencing about half of it ( I think about 120 ft). We are doing estate fencing along the front and black chain link along the sides and back and it is just about $7500.

Thank you for the reply! Wow, so I guess i should be prepared for $15k or more based on what you are getting and the size of this yard-big expense for sure.

We just put up 6ft PVC fencing along the perimeter of our property and it cost $4800. You are definitely looking at $10-15k.

ETA: It really depends on the type of fencing you get and how many gates.
