How much would you charge if someone wanted you to make 100 cupcakes?
I'm thinking of doing red velvet, and a poured fondant on top, so it is nice and smooth. There will be a logo on top. I've never had a paid gig before, and I have no idea what to charge! Any ideas?

No ideas myself but I would call around to a few bakeries and see what they charge and they price accordingly.

I looked online, and the fancy cupcakes are around $3. I told her $2 a cupcake since mine will be just one flavor, and it's for a group that always does free events that I attend. They aren't there to make money, so I don't want to make money off of them, if that makes sense.

We usually charge $2 a cupcake since it's in bulk. $3 for lesser amounts or more complex designs or flavors.

Oh, that's good to know! She's giving me $150 for 6 dozen. I'm so excited! This is my first paying gig!
