I'm about to have a breakdown...
so for the past few months...i've gotten worse. i can't help it, obsessing over being pregnant and over the fact that i am not getting pregnant.
DH is always so positive around me to help keep my spirits up and he asks me to do the same but i can't seem to pull myself out of this funk. I don't feel like th is all the time, it comes and goes but it sucks.
Its like people i didn't even know were trying to have a baby are coming out the woodwork and saying that they are pregnant  i'm happy for them but honestly, i feel 10x worse afterwards  and then i feel bad for feeling bad 
i guess i just needed to vent. i go home every night and i want to cry but then i don't want DH to see me cry and ask why and open that whole can of worms again

Antonella, I know exactly how you feel and while it feels like a knife in the heart every time you hear someone is unexpectedly pregnant, you just have to remain positive and think of the outcome- a beautiful little baby!!
Whatever road we take to get there,and whatever bumps we may hit, we WILL get there!!

I can totally relate too! But I think I have my good moments and my bad. As long as we're trying something, I feel like we're a step closer to our baby.
You're only just starting this journey so try to be patient. You'll figure it out and have your baby before you know it!

i hope so ladies. i try to keep positive when i can and then i have these horrible "down" moments that bring me way down and make me feel so defective.
i know i just recently started with the RE in February, but we had already been trying for a year before that.
If i knew it would be this hard to get pregnant, i could have saved myself so much money on BCP over the last 10 years!

My doctor actually made a really good point yesterday because I said the same exact thing to him about everyone getting pregnant. He said that everyone is always getting pregnant and I just didn't notice before because I wasn't trying.
Vent away!!! This isn't an easy journey to be on. And your feelings are perfectly normal.

OMG - I am at the same point.
Feel free to vent away. It is so frustrating.
It seems like every person I know on FB either just had a baby or is pregnant.  We have been trying since August 2010 so some people are already on baby #2.

i know this is true. this is like when i wanted to be engaged so bad, i kept noticing all the engagement rings the women were wearing on the train. Once i was engaged and it was getting closer to the wedding, i kept noticing everyone's wedding bands ...now its like literally EVERYONE is pregnant and spring/summer are the worst because i hear they are the most popular months to give birth and its when you just notice it more since people don't have to cover up as much anymore
SUCKS! IF SUCKS! hard.

i know how you feel! im in the same funk as you right now. and every week someone else around me is announcing they are pregnant and everyone keeps asking me when were going to have another baby, and how we shouldnt wait too long to have another one.

I have been in your shoes and it is very hard. I cried every day for so long that I am still hurt by everything I went through. Even though I finally got pregnant the pain of having to go through IVF still is with me.
