38w...cramps?

hi ladies..going to docs tomorrow. i am not having contractions at all...but my question is...in general i feel a dull ache/crampy in my abdomen for a few days.

i dont have any signs of labor...ie lightening or contractions or show ( well maybe a drop of mucus..sorry!).

and way tmi..sometimes i get excited that i feel a contraction..but turns out to be gas lol

so does anyone know or have you had just the dull crampy achy feeling and have it be something? soo hoping i have made progress!! gahhhh

I had the worst back pains ever the day I went into labor... but it sounds like your cramps are in the front? I honestly don't remember having much of anything that week right before DD was born. For weeks and weeks before that, I was having BH all the time. Sometimes painful, sometimes not. But it didn't mean anything (well, it probably meant I wasn't drinking enough water... my perpetual problem).

drink more water. I have the same cramps up front, lower ab and it is usually that I need more water.

I am excited for you that you are coming due.

I had menstrual like cramps and pressure down low for two weeks before I went into labor. I asked my dr about it and she said it was the cervix softening/dilating and just my body's way of getting ready for labor. Good luck! Hope it happens soon!

sounds like what I had the night before I went into labor. I actually called my dr b/c I kept getting a pain on my left side & she said it was probably just gas.

I'm 37 weeks and experiencing the same thing. I have had constant cramps and/or a stomach ache for the past 3 days. I go to the doctor tomorrow and hoping for some progress.
