anyone elses neighbors STILL have their xmas lights up
i cant believe how many people on my block still have their lights up!!
my one neighbor just had their landscaper come do spring clean up and they didnt do half of their hedges bc the lights were on them.
i understand some people have certain situations that cause them to leave them up....but these are able bodied young adults!!

Yep, have seen a few. I only know one family personally and I don't get why they haven't taken them down.

OMG, I was driving today and had to move over for a truck to come by, and there were THREE houses in a row that still had their lights up !!!

in queens I see lots of people with their lights up. I guess it must be a pain to put them up every year.
For me it losses it's effect.

No kidding - the timing of this post made me LOL for real, because as I left for work Thursday morning, I saw a neighbor taking his lights down.

Oh God this was us until the beginning of march 
My husband went overboard and covered EVERYTHING in lights. Then became crazy busy at work and had almost no days off to go and take them down.
I was able to take down everything within reach (I can't do ladders) but it had to wait until he was off during daylight to get the rest off the top of the house.
Embarrassed is an understatement.
P.S. This was our first christmas on this block. The neighbors must hate us!

We still have a Christmasy flag out.
My Dad always puts our flags up for us since he is the only one who knows how to do it, and he has been super busy with tax season. He's coming over later, and he will take it down then. Again

This was us! I took everything down end of feb, and we left our lighted animals out until end of march because the kids liked them. I'm sure our neighbors think we are nuts , ontop of that only 2 families on our block celebrate Christmas

We still have our wreath up and every weekend I yell at DH to take it down cause we are "those" people. I told him today if he doesnt take it down he can sleep outside tonight.

Our neighbor had theirs up until recently.
My parents' neighbors still have theirs up and everytime my 2 yr old DS goes over there he says "Ho Ho Ho."

I remember that last year our neighbors left their decorations up until March or April because that was when their son was coming home from Afghanistan - so maybe at least some of them have a reason (but I doubt all of them do)

There is a house down the block that still has the fake tree in the window. The usually take it down in time for Halloween decorations.
