Excursions in the Dominican Republic
Please recommend your favorites.
DH and just booked a week in Punta Cana in August for my 30th!
Also any casino / bar / restaurant recommendations would be nice too.

We did dune buggies it was the most fun we've ever had on an excursion hands down.

We did swimming with sharks and sting rays which was awesome and the horse tour on the beach. My husband also went fishing ( I went to the spa) but he loved it and caught huge fish!

I haven't been to DR yet, but I'm going in 2 weeks so I've been doing a lot of research!
DH and I have decided to do the Swimming with dolphins, sting rays, and nurse sharks that a pp had mentioned.
We're planning on booking through Viator.com. Here's a link to their Punta Cana options. I've also heard that you can pick up excursions easily upon arrival at Scuba Caribe which is set up nearby most hotels.

There's a really cool night club there called Imagine. Its in a real cave...with bats flying around the entrance! We booked that at our hotel...they picked us up around 10 or 11 at night and picked us up at the club around 4am! We danced all night, it was awesome!

It WAS amazing! We did the package where you got a bracelet and it was open bar all night. I think it was an extra $20pp...but we drank a lot more than $20 worth lol It was great!

you can probably book your excursions and find out about more of them right from your hotel..it's big businesses for them booking in the lobby!
We did horseback riding along the beach in Punta Cana...so much fun! They took our picture on the horses and while we were out put it on a bottle of rum as a keepsake.
