Giving Advice
We all have friends that come to us with their issues....
But which have you noticed more
1. that they truly want your advice or
2. are just looking to vent?

Unless "What would you do?" or "Can I get your advice?" is said, I presume they are venting.
I know I vent about things that either have no answer or the answer is something I am not willing to entertain.

Definitely encounter the venting alot more. I know I usually prefer to vent also... alot of times the things I'm talking about don't really have an answer anyway. So when friends come to me, I try to lend them ear to rant to as much as possible. Sure, I offer advice if I have any but mostly just listen.

Venting is much more frequent. Life can be really frustrating some days.
