So she seems to be eating...
solids. Well, puffs, wagon wheels, cheese, rice -- those are the things she has eaten so far today but she keeps asking for more puffs and wagon wheels.
Yet I keep trying the bottle and she just wants nothing to do with it. She screams and tries as soon as she sees it. I've tried it probably 7 or 8 times today, and although she took her first bottle of the morning just fine, she doesnt want anything to do with these other bottles.
She is drinking her pedialyte in the sippy cup here and there. We've had 3 peepee diapers today which is an improvement over yesterday so I'm less worried about dehydration today.
But I'm concerned now about her calorie intake. A girl can't live on puffs and wagon wheels alone! I did try some yobaby yogurt and she refused.
Should I put the formula in a sippy cup and try it that way? Maybe something about the sucking on the bottle is hurting her?
Or do I just try again tonight and then see if it improves tomorrow.
I'm almost thinking maybe this is a blessing in disguise and it'll help me wean her from the bottle soon -- or even wean onto milk...but I'm thinking she's too young for that since she is only 10.5 months old.
Any ideas? thoughts? suggestions??

I know when Alex had coxsackie, she didn't drink much formula for a good week, mainly because the blisters were in her throat, making it painful to use the bottle... I'd keep trying with the sippy cup for now

Thanks Beth .. but she took the sippy cup no problem? I know the doc said her throat was really swollen and red the other day ... so I know it's bothering her.
Actually she started bottle #2 today -- ahad 2 oz and then she choked a bit and coughed and it's since then that she won't even look at it.
