Montauk...if it rains?
I am thinking of booking a few nights in Montauk this summer. We'd be going with our three DC who will be 6, 5, and 20 mos.
I've only been to Montauk once years ago, pre-kids, so I'm unsure of the scene. So, aside from the beach...what else is there to do, especially in case of inclement weather?

Some hotels might have an indoor pool.
I think there was a bowling alley not too far away.
Bring board games if it's not a long period of time stuck inside.

I have been there 3 times and last year it rained horribly and we rode it out for one night but the next day went home becuae I honestly feel there is nothing to do there if the weather is not nice!

we usually go to the vineyards when it rains - even when we are with family and have our neices and nephews with us. Wolffer even had a non-alcoholic wine they gave the kids. There is a movie theater in east hampton. We do montauk every columbus day weekend and it rains about 2/3 of the time. We have sat on the beach in light rain and had a blast. Kids too. it heavier rain is when we go to the vineyards. Or we just hang out in the room with everyone. Bring board games.
