nursery furniture opinions (pics included)
dh and i went furniture browsing yesterday, and these are our 2 front runners. the 1st set is made by pali, the 2nd set is made by munire. (i posted a picture of the munire crib by itself to show the color we'd be getting). both sets are from behr's - the prices are fairly similar. dh likes the munire set a little better... i like the pali set a little better. the pali set just seems a little smaller, and the nursery is NOT a big room at all. i do have measurements and i will take that into consideration, just asking for opinions at 1st glance. the one thing i don't like about the munire set - is the feet on the dresser etc. they are round "bun" type feet - whereas the pali set, it's all squared off on the bottom. seems trivial, but it's something my eye goes right towards. i looked both sets up here and in baby bargains - they have very similar ratings in baby bargains, and here - it seems 50/50. some people say munire scratches very easily, some people love it. same exact thing goes for pali. opinions??

Pali for me...
I don't like curved backs on a crib.
Very feminine IMO.

I like the munire set. Funny thing is I bought a Pali set for my son (arezzo) and will be buying the Savanahh by Munire for DD#2.

Same here - I like square lines and didn't notice the feet so much. Both are really nice though!!

We have the bonavita hudson for DD (in white) and I'm kinda amazed how it looks almost exactly like the munire. Are they the same company, different names?
Anyway, I do like that one better, but I'm biased. We have no scratches in ours (DD is 15 m) but we have it in white and she doesn't bite her crib ever. I feel like the darker woods show bites more.

I like the Pali. Our set is similar. I almost got the Munire but then got the Stanley Young America MyHaven set. Mostly because it had more options for beds and stuff for the future.

We have a Pali set and I like it but the wood is very soft. Anytime something hits it it scratches. I'm so annoyed and even tried contacting the company and they never reply.

Munire got A- but one of the things they mentioned was a very major recall for lead pali got a B+ and the reason was bc for a while they were over priced. Similar ratings IMO

I really like the Pali set but we current have a Pali set for my DS' room & there are scratches on there that we don't even know how they happened- it's very delicate furniture.

I voted for Pali and it's now exactly 50/50!!! They are both beautiful though!! Was the wood color true to the pics when you saw it in the store?

in the store, the pali looks more like how the dresser looks in the picture - a touch lighter than espresso. where the munire looks even a little darker than the crib picture. seems like both brands have gotten complaints of easy scratching. Boooo but dh won't consider furniture from bbb or bru and im not a fan of bellini. We spent a long time on behrs and these were our faves. Ugh this is hard! Lol

Re: nursery furniture opinions (pics included)
i like the munire set better, but it does seem like a lot of furniture for a small room. the pali set is just kind of cookie cutter looking.
could you pick only one storage piece?

Re: nursery furniture opinions (pics included)
I got the Munire crib you posted and the Capri dresser/nightstand all in white. I wanted a very simple flat lined crib and this fit what I wanted with the quality.
They are being delivered tomorrow so I can tell you more then. However my DD's furniture is Stanley which is about the same price point except that this crib was much cheaper due to less detail than the stanley one I have and I love her set too.
I would honestly go with the set you like better asthetically. The ratings are too similar to go by quality. It's personal preference at this point.
