For those 8-9 months pregnant...

I'm 35 weeks and lately noticed a decrease in movement. I still feel LO move a lot, but not as strong and LO doesn't feel as active. DH said he read that this is typical at the end b/c there is less room to move around as the LO gets larger but I want to make sure. I still feel it, but i use to feel like a punching bag and now I just feel swuishy movements, not as hard, and not as often....

I get panicky at times about her movements too. Even though she moves a ton at times, other times I think she's not moving enough. I would just keep up with your kick counts and as long as they're ok, then the LO's okay.

Yup, thats what happens around now. My OB said to count her movements twice a day. She should be kicking at least 5 times in 1 hour after 2 meals a day. If she is not, my OB wants me to call her.

I'm 36 weeks and have noticed the same. I'm just chalking it up to less room! I used to feel a lot of kicks and now I just feel hiccups or her butt sticking out on one side.

totally normal. My Dr. told me that movement may decrease towards the end but even if you feel some movement (even if very light) its fine. If you are ever worried, eat a big meal and lay on your left side. Baby should move at least 10 times within the hour. If not, call your Dr.
