PIO and leg pain still
I am about 18 weeks pregnant and started PIO in late December, I stopped doing it every day at about 7.5 weeks and did it every other day till about 9 weeks. My progesterone levels were like 98 or something, so they said I could stop.
I did the shots myself in my upper third of my thighs and almost from the start would get weird numbing pain, but not at the injection site, on the sides ogf my legs starting above my knees.
Now it is over 2 months later since I have done a shot and my legs still hurt, it's almost like the top layer of numbness went away but I have pain right below the surface. Sometimes I will be sitting still and get a pain like someone stabbed me with a needle. I have to furiously itch it so it goes away.
I keep forgetting to ask my Dr. and won't see her now for almost a month, but has anyone heard of this? I am afraid I damaged my legs forever.
And I mentioned to my RE while it was going on, but no one had any answers for me. I would inject and instantly feel numbness travel down my leg but now it has turned to slight pain.

Re: PIO and leg pain still
I didn't do PIO in my legs but did it in my butt and I still have the lumps from stopping 4 weeks ago. I did 1 ml everyday and my levels were in the 100s. From what the other ladies have said, it takes plenty of time to heal. I would think that it takes twice as long for the thigh being that its twice as painful! But, I'd have the Dr check out the injection sites anyway.
