repairing appliances - yay or nay?
I have a 1.5 year old washing machine that broke.
I'm not sure what's wrong with it. I only know that a plumber was here twice to say it's definitely the machine and not the plumbing.
Is it even worth it to get someone in here to look at it or would you just replace it?
It retailed for about $350-400.
Thanks.

I'm currently repairing mine (waiting on the part) and they're charging me $200+. it was $70 just to have the guy come to my house.

I would just get a new one if you can't fix it yourself.

Since its so new it can't hurt to have someone look at it. The repair guy we use only charges to fix it, not to diagnose the problem. So we had him fix our dryer once, another time he looked at the fridge in 2 seconds told us to go shopping for a new one and left, it cost us nothing.
