maxi dresses
Do these dresses come short at all? I have seen a few I like and they all drag on the floor. Are these dresses anti-short people?

I've never bought one specifically in short, however, I am wondering if you might have some luck buying in a petite section of a department store? Or maybe at a store geared to junior sizes like a Dots?
I have only bought them at places like Old Navy, which the sizes are hit and miss.
I mostly wear mine with flip flops or a chunky sandal if I want to add some height.

I love maxi dresses and have accumulated quite a few over the years. Some are longer than others and a few did drag on the floor when I bought. I brought to a tailor and had them shortened a few inches. I am 5' 2" and shockingly most are the length that I prefer (hits at the top of my foot).
ATL is the only store where I bought in petite and IMO they are too short (hits at ankles).
Where have you bought from that are too long?
I haven't bought any this year but these are the stores where I have purchased in the past:

I have bought tons and I think I have found only 1 that was slightly too long. Dry clearner took care of that. I am 5'1". I wear them with flat sandals or flip flops and they always hit just above the ground. Any shorter and they look funny to me.

I just bought one from Gap Outlet and it is dragging on the floor...and I'm 5'6! But I agree with the petite or juniors stores, they will be shorter in length! Good luck!

I usually have good luck length wise with these and I'm 5'2. Just got one in the mail yesterday that I ordered from Body Central and it is the perfect length with flip flops and it was soo CHEAP!!

Totally forgot about Wal-Mart.
I got one there last summer and it's the perfect length.
It was also cheap.......like $14.00.

I am short 5'1 and I always have a problem with maxi dresses. I usually just have them shortened.
