Review of Myrtle Beach/Spirit airlines

We just got back from a week in Myrtle Beach. We flew put of LGA on Spirit and it was great. We payed extra to pick our seats, which I find ridiculous, but we were all together and had no issues going or coming. The flight is about an hour and 45 minutes. The kids barely had z chance to get bored and we were already preparing for landing.
We exchanged our timeshare and stayed at South Beach Resort. It was smaller then what we're used to, but it was really nice. The units were really big and had just been renovated. The pool had a zero entry which is great when you have kids. The hot tub was the size of a small pool.
Unfortunately, DH and I either had some kind of stomach bug or food poisoning for half the week do we didn't get to do nearly as much as we had wanted. We did take the kids to the aquarium and they loved it. We walked around Broadway on the Beach, played some games and went on the carousel. We took them to Medieval Times and our knight won. Yay! We took them to two mini golf places, a couple of arcades, and to the alligator place/zoo at Barefoot Landing. We would definitely go back because there was a lot we missed.
